CO2 laser cutting for students
20% off the cutting, on the CO2 laser. You bring the file, we cut it. No minimum order — one piece or twenty, it is the same to us.
It is the normal quote, with two small additions
1. Upload your file and request the quote
Exactly as any other customer would, through the instant quote. The price it gives you is the standard price — the discount is applied afterwards, by hand.
2. Tell us you are a student
Use your school or university email address in the email field, and say where you study in the message. If your school does not issue an address, attach a photo of your current enrolment slip.
3. We confirm with 20% off the cutting
To that same address, usually within 24 hours. If we spot something in the file that will cause trouble on the machine, we will tell you what to fix.
What the discount covers, and what it does not
Covered
- CO2 laser cutting of the files you send us.
- Wood, plywood, MDF, acrylic, card and foamboard.
- A single piece or a short run, whichever you need.
- Academic work: coursework, final year and master’s projects.
Not covered
- Materials. Billed separately at the normal price. The 20% is on the cutting only.
- Metal laser cutting and CNC milling. We do both, at the normal price.
- Production work. We do not make finished pieces, plinths or mounts for students — that is professional work and it is quoted as such.
No paperwork
The email is the check: we send the confirmed quote to your school address. If it reaches you there, that is it.
We only ask for an enrolment slip from students whose school does not issue an address. In that case we look at it, apply the discount and delete it — we do not keep copies of enrolment documents or student cards.
What we cut on the CO2 laser
Wood, plywood, MDF, acrylic, card and foamboard.
Bring your own material, or ask us to supply it. If we supply it, it is billed separately and without the discount.
If you teach
If you would like something to hand your students, email us and we will send the information as a PDF for the noticeboard or your virtual classroom.
We also host groups at the workshop on Calle Hermanos del Moral 65, Carabanchel.

The 20% discount applies only to CO2 laser cutting. It does not apply to materials, metal laser cutting or CNC milling. It is for personal academic work, not commercial commissions or resale. Fabrication of finished pieces and mounts is a professional service and is quoted outside this offer.
